I Ate A Lot Of Cookies, So I Did A Lot Of Lunges

Between sleepless nights with my six-month old, long days at work, and everything in between, I definitely take joy in the little victories like sticking to my nutrition plan of eating clean. Then there are days, like this past Sunday, where the Cookie Butter Cookies at Trader Joe’s jumped into my cart and between my wife and I, somehow disappeared in one afternoon.

So, to counteract those days, I like to end with a metabolism-boosting workout that, in my head anyways, cancels out the weekend’s cheats. It was also a great way to make the horrible 2015 MTV Video Music Awards I subjected myself to watching at least have some sort of purpose.

Try the quick workout below and post your time in the comments. Feel free to scale down the rounds to 5 to 7 at first and work your way up to 10. Remember, the only goal you should have is to be better than you were yesterday.

10 Rounds For Time:

  • 50 Lunges (make sure to keep your knees aligned, front knee over your shoe and back knee pointing down)
  • 10 Air Squats
